Letting go at No.10 – Big Issue

A cartoon from this week’s Big Issue, drawn and submitted on the morning that Sir Keir Starmer announced he was stepping down as UK Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party. Quite a topical one for BI as there’s usually a week between submitting and the issue hitting the streets so the idea has to be still relevant up to two weeks later.

I remember an Inga Moore children’s book call ‘Six Dinner Sid’ about a cat that had 6 unknowing owners who fed the cat every day, hence the 6 dinners. Well, 10 Downing Street resident Larry the Cat has had 6 owners (about to be 7) in the past 15 years and he hasn’t had to move house!
